Nanogirl's STEMSTARS, brought to you by Genesis School-gen, was created by our expert team of science communicators, educators and designers—so you can have confidence in the programme's pedagogical and scientific credentials.
With extensive experience supporting schools and teachers to feel confident to teach STEM, the team bring together their academic science and engineering qualifications with science communication and teaching expertise to create engaging, accurate and highly effective STEM resources.

Val Davis
An author, editor and storyteller, former English teacher Val holds a BA(Hons) in English, and a deeply held belief in the transformational power of education.
Mark Rangi
Mark is a mātauranga Māori consultant and te reo Māori translator with specialist knowledge of pūtaiao (science), Māori medium education and contextualising scientific knowledge into authentic mātauranga Māori concepts.
Kylie Parry
Kylie writes stories and plays for the Junior Journal and Ready to Read series. When she is not writing, Kylie works in schools and collects facts, especially about NZ native leaf slugs.
