Learn more about Nanogirl
Nanogirl's STEMSTARS, brought to you by Genesis School-gen, was created by our expert team of science communicators, educators and designers—so you can have confidence in the programme's pedagogical and scientific credentials.
With extensive experience supporting schools and teachers to feel confident to teach STEM, the team bring together their academic science and engineering qualifications with science communication and teaching expertise to create engaging, accurate and highly effective STEM resources.
An author, editor and storyteller, former English teacher Val holds a BA(Hons) in English, and a deeply held belief in the transformational power of education.
Mark is a mātauranga Māori consultant and te reo Māori translator with specialist knowledge of pūtaiao (science), Māori medium education and contextualising scientific knowledge into authentic mātauranga Māori concepts.

STEMSTARS is a STEM.org accredited programme.
